This trail is typically ridden as an out and back to the wilderness boundary. It is unique in that it offers a relatively gentle (this is Idaho) and non technical climb on the way up and a steady and consistent descent on the way back down. At about the six mile mark are the Yankee Fork Meadows which offer expansive views. Beyond that the trail becomes somewhat steeper, but still entirely rideable. It makes for an enjoyable ride in a beautiful setting and the forgiving terrain means this is an excellent ride for riders without a lot of experience. Expect several stream crossings including a couple that will get your feet wet.
There is a large trailhead with ample parking along the Yankee Fork Road.

Service Road Atlas is a free to use, community-driven service for viewing and creating reports on the numerous back-country service roads around B.C. and Alberta.
