      Classic oldschool tech trail that’ll keep you on your toes. If you're heading towards Hobbs a nice option is to pick up the back half of Walnut from Ogle Lake road, which is faster and less grueling IMO.

      I don't know how to delete old comments but I came back to Walnut after improving some skills and riding a more appropriate bike and it's a total blast. Lots of challenging black diamond rock and root tech, but a surprising amount of flow, especially going west to east. Super fun in both directions. Highly recommend it!

      Solid tough technical climbs. Reminds me of the BC Bike Race. Definitely worth riding and fun.
