conditions are mostly really good, hero dirt abounds. but there's also definitely some wet sections, especially lower down in and around the fenceline area. You'll need to take care there to avoid trail damage/braiding.
And, holy arguments batman, the trail reports section isn't really the place for discussions .... there's a private messaging inbox function in Trailforks, that works much better for that Wink 		Variableview

Most of the trail is in good condition lots of hero dirt, but variable. There are several wet areas, especially around any of the rock slab areas and the little creek at the top end by the frog pond. You'll need to take care in these spots to avoid damaging the trail bed. Otherwise, good to go. Variableview

Mostly in ideal shape, not dry not wet. There are however a few short wet sections that you'll need to take care through, hence the "variable" condition status. What a great climb trail! Variableview

hike EDIT: There is apparently one lookout on this trail with at least partial views to 5 lakes, although it wasn't clearly signed & is easy to miss - see Andrew's photo with description of how to find it. Note trail closely follows a barbed wire fence for a good distance adjacent private property so take care in this section, only really an issue if riding in the reverse direction. Dryview

GEOM and all trails at lower altitude mostly dry and good riding. Minimal snow cover from just Vaseux lookout. From lookout to Moose pond enough snow to make all but strongest riders to walk. From Moose Pond on via Icelandic Connection all dry. Snowy sections will get muddier as they dry out. Probably good to go by weekend. Snow Cover Partialview

Trail overgrown in the first 100 yards in the meadow. Otherwise in decent condition. Good tough climb. Dryview
