Trail Ridden Direction

Trailforks scans users ridelogs to determine the most popular direction each trail is ridden. A good flowing trail network will have most trails flowing in a single direction according to their intension.
The colour categories are based on what percentage of riders are riding a trail in its intended direction.

Clearwater has been developing mountain bike trails since 2015.
The first network is being developed at the Candle Creek cross country ski area managed by the Wells Gray Outdoor Club.

From Clearwater travel north, take a left on Candle Creek Rd, a right on Barber Rd - trails are signed at the end of the road. Follow the blue XC trail signs.
The Ridge Trail networks offers green easy loops and some blue flow style descents, winding through open Fir forests with good views of the valley. The new trail climbs above the warming hut as a two way out and back, with many great viewpoints - a great place to be at sunset.
There is also riding on some park trails (see North Thompson and Wells Gray Park), and local non-sanctioned trails (ask locals for Gates Crk Loop).
