This trail is basically no longer a trail if you are coming from Hard Luck Mine Road. Rerouted to Monarch Creek Trailhead which had significant downfall. We got back on this trail after climbing Bison Mountain Trail Cutoff (so steep= hike a bike) and this trail was basically unrideable again because of a TON of deadfall. The CDT has been cleared for a couple miles south of Bison Mtn. too. going further south it's been cleared for hikers (many trees left on the ground that can be steped over) as far as Thunderbolt Mtn. | Ideal | view | |||
