Rode this for the first time the day after 2 smalls days of light precipitation and was almost ideal but a little on the dry side. Super sendy descent, can definitely pick up some speed so encountering a hike would be rough. The climb up via trail 1 and then descent down trail 2 is definitely the play. Signage definitely kind of does suck, kept referring to trail forks and my map to make sure I was on the right climb trail. All in all it’s a super dope little track that us locals have been DYING for quite some time. Dryview

The trail is a bit rougher than it used to be, due to cattle making wallows on the trail. But it is still a great scenic trail. HOWEVER, be careful up there! I saw a bear cub up close and personal on the trail right in front of me around a blind bend. Thankfully, I didn't see momma bear. For the next mile, I've never ridden down that trail so fast. Felt like a downhill racer. Luckily I didn't wipe out and break my neck. Idealview

Did this on my mtn bike. Condition is great after the recent rains. Very little dust. Rocky in spots as usual. The forest service has added a bunch of berms for erosion control. So if you are into jumping... there are lots of small jumps now for the downhill! Idealview
