Recommended direction is counter-clockwise. Reversing the direction is allowed, but puts you in the non-normal directions for Strange Brew, Sugar Mama, Bobcat, and Snakes & Ladders.
This is a "greatest hits" 30km loop from the West Bragg parking lot with 4 solid climbs for 1000m of elevation gain.
Starts with a good climb up Ranger Summit to Snakes & Ladders for a flowy descent followed by another solid climb up the back half of the trail. Meets up with Ridgeback for a rocky descent South to Bobcat for the third climb. Takes a right down Sugar Mama for a rooty descent ending with a short half loop of Snagmore and the final climb up Sugar Daddy. Finishes off with the descent down Strange Brew and the tail end of Boundry Ridge.
Trails are all Blue, but the 4 climbs bring the difficulty level up significantly.

Snow too soft. Constant momentum interruptions by hikers or coming to a halt on 3/4 of the hills due to sinking or being pulled into ruts.
Best to stick to low elevations this week with the warmer temps.

They just kept moving downslope away from the trail.

Unfortunately can’t say the same for the Baruch’s Corner sign at the top lookout, and the trail-map at the Elbow junction. Somebody thinks that wrecking the signs is fun or something.
Anyway, let’s respect what has been provided for the enjoyment of the area without ruining it for everybody.

July 24, 2018
Effective Date: July 24, 2018 until further notice
Where: Tom Snow Trail from Mountain Road to Moose Loop
Why: Bears feeding on carcass
The sign that shows the closure is not well marked, A small notice that has a map is posted at the entrance of Tom Snow from the Mountain Road. We looked at it and thought it was in the South direction and proceeded on the trail going North. We encountered yellow closure markings by Ab parks at the base of the large hill and some of us encountered a strong smell. We turned around and retreated back up the trail.

2. Please avoid the entire trail if it's rained or snowed. Unless the ground is frozen.
3. Leave space in front of the next rider on the down. You don't want them holding you up as you hit endless berms.
