2N77 is a power line road that connects the Grizzly Flat Road with the Hoyt Mountain Trail. The start is about 1km above the Grizzly Flat parking area on CA-2, and the end is at the Hoyt Saddle at the start of Hoyt Mountain Trail.

This road sees little maintenance, and is currently rutted and strewn with loose rock. There are several slide areas that require portage.
