Bedrock Trail is a short route that runs over some natural granite bedrock. One such outcropping provides a good view of the old mill pond used by the Taft shingle mill that now provides a perfect habitat for beavers and water loving birds. Two optional challenging side trails are located along this trail that flow best when following the trail in the direction marked by White triangular blazes otherwise the basic trail is good in both directions.
