The upper segment of this trail is on a ridge, however, most of this section of Big Silverlead is straight forward riding in a broad gully. The tricky part comes when you hit the lower road. Go right! Then look for the trail dropping down the next gully.

This trail is ridden primarily downhill. It is a steep climb if ridden uphill.
From the Stein Mountain Trail, Look for a spur ridge heading southwest which the trail starts down.. From the 063 road, look into the southern most of the two gully's where the road crosses the Big Silverlead drainage.
