One of the most technical trails at Oak Mountain State Park. Expect a number of very large boulder fields with multiple lines through them, as well as a few step rock rolls and drops.

Too be honest I really don’t understand how boulder is rated a black diamond but storyteller is not. It really boggles my mind!

I rode this trail along with West Ridge this past weekend. The trail had some fun technical sections but more than anything this trail needs some loving and riding. The trail disappears in a few places and it is hard to figure out what the trail line is. I think the double black diamond rating might be a bit over the top and is probably keeping people away. Both these trails offer some great riding they just need to be ridden more.

One the best technical trails south of Harrisonburg, VA. So many good line options! This is what you ride to prepare for Squamish.
