This short trail can be used to bail out from the Tall Oaks to the easier Box Turtle Trail or, in an emergency, to exit the Box Turtle and take a direct route back to the Morgan Trail System Trailhead by bearing left on the Tall Oaks Trail. Riders should be aware that this type of exit runs against the flow of traffic and should only be used in an emergency. Riders are advised to walk their bikes and be attentive the likelihood of relatively high-speed oncoming traffic on the Tall Oaks Trail.
