One of the great under rated trails in the Hermosa Creek Watershred. Tight, raw, wild single track that will make you smile. Not great for uphill. Maintained by moto bike folks and most definitely open to e bikes.

      I laughed out loud when I read “maintained by the moto folks” in the description for this ride after I rode it… ain’t nobody maintaining this. At least 10 downed trees and the trail is too overgrown to ever catch much speed. Besides that it is essentially featureless singletrack at a consistent downhill pitch. Much more of a blue than a black.

      Honestly just sad I rode this instead of stagecoach which is actually a good descent… but I was curious.


      In either case, you can probably skip this one. If you are trying to decide between this one and Stagecoach, take stagecoach.

      Before the wildflowers and brush bloom this trail is meh. Once everything starts growing, avoid this trail unless you’re looking to navigate handlebar tall plants and 6inch wide trail:

      This trail is open to dirt bikes up to the Colorado trail at the top. This app says no dirt bikes, but as of July 4th 2020, the brown forest service placard had a dirt bike logo on it as permissible use.
