The Edds Mountain trail connects from the Hall Creek road area East of Republic, to the Kettle Crest trail south of Snoq Peak Cabin. The upper portion of Edds Mountain is a grassy, wildflower covered slope, but getting there involves a climb up a steep (fall line), rocky, and (as of 2010) primitive and little used, even by Kettle Crest standards.
