Primarily a downhill trail accessed by a very steep gravel climb. Very remote, high risk factor. Large rock gardens and high speeds. Legend

Not really that hard, a lot of fun of roots and rocks. But pretty lame, if I'd say

The trail starts out with pretty much some of the best back country Pisgah technical stuff. Riding a hardtail down this trail is not recommended unless you either have good plus size tires, at least 130mm of travel, and no front derailleur, or if you just want to walk down the whole thing. The climb is also very long so don't rush up it, take it slow because you will need all the energy you can get prior to descending, also consider eyeing out a few of the sections if it is your first time.

Dope backcountry minimally maintained trail. You're out there on your own on this one. Super fun, very loose and pretty steep. A few tough switchbacks and a stout climb in the middle before the final traverse over to daniels ridge. I'm curious whether there are locals who ride the stream crossings.

theres quite a few locals that have cleaned them all, myself included. the. climb up from the waterfall crossing has haunted me and with erosion it gets harder and harder every year and I came real close back in 2016.

Not a great ride. Upper section is a boulder murder feat followed by some impossible river traverses. Not worth the long climb.
