Fiddler’s Walk is a scenic route linking the Rec Hub and multi-use trails with local businesses and services in Waitsfield. The trail surface is primarily packed earth with some on-road gravel/pavement sections and one steep staircase. After crossing Mill Brook, follow VT 100 for 400 feet, take a right and follow Dugway Rd to an almost immediate right to Butcher House Drive. Follow the drive for 500 feet and continue on the trail past the solar panels. Past the Laundromat, the trail enters a beautiful forest along the Mad River and a picnic area. Marked spur trails provide access to a nearby housing community and Village Square, or you can continue on the main path to Mad River Green and the Heart of the Valley Trail.
