The new realignment should not be considered to be a mountain bike trail. I used to love the old Geronimo and the top half is the same and still a fun technical playground. The problem is once you get done with the top half you will either be hiking down the second half or back up the first half. It's too bad the city parks department neglects mountain bikers. They could learn a lot from the Hawes Trail Alliance.

I used to be a Phoenix local and absolutely loved sending it down Geronimo. I’m back visiting with my bike and can’t believe Geronimo has been ruined by what seems like a bunch of Jerry’s. Way to go!

should have noticed 96% DH/4%UH- not sure if it’s worse HAB than Mormon but some say latter is fully ridable in sections- this one is not.
