Descends from Orange Jelly to the McIntosh Run river, Granitude is probably the longest continuous descent in the system. It passes through burned granite barrens, a couple pockets of unburned oldgrowth, and lots of alder thickets.

"Light blue" compared to most blues in the system, but lots of fun optional features and jumps of greater difficulty for bikes. Great berms and flow Granitude was machine built by magicians at Kodiak Trailworks, with clearing, finishing and carpentry by volunteers.

This is also a climbing trail and walking trail to the river. Descending cyclists, please keep your head up and yield.

Granitude was laid out and planned in the 2014 McIntosh Run trail plan, and built in Spring 2021 thanks to support by Nomad Supply, Patagonia Halifax, donated machine time by Kodiak, and all MRWA trail supporters. Thanks everyone, for making the magic happen!
