Land OwnerNova Scotia Department of Lands and Forestry
Orange Jelly weaves through mixed forest and crosses low angle bedrock outcrops, and brings you to a vista that overlooks the ocean and burned part of the McIntosh Run river valley.
A perfect introduction to McIntosh Run trails, mostly easy and low angle with a few optional small jumps and drops for bikes.
The blue & black optional lines near the start are rebuilt features from an older trail ('Bloodline') that Orange Jelly now crosses. The rest of Bloodline is mostly overgrown, but kudos to the original fabricators here.
Orange Jelly and Granitude were planned in the 2014 McIntosh Run trail plan, and machine built by Kodiak Trailworks and volunteers in Spring 2021, thanks to support by Nomad Supply, Patagonia Halifax, donated machine time by Kodiak, and all MRWA trail supporters. Thanks everyone, for making the magic happen
