       I did a fair amount of work on this trail in 2011 - 2013 mainly in the section downhill of the switchbacks building up low points so they were above the water table and cutting out portions of the log that obstructed half the trail (the smiley faced log that's now obscured by moss). Even had the permit for the work from DNV via Graham Knell.

      Sharon and I would hike the trail frequently from 2008 to 2012 to clear out the drains and sweep it of debris.

      It's been a couple of years since I've ridden the switchbacks. They're still tight and awkward and janky and Jerry Willows would still hate them (inside joke). The drains are still unplugged. The water is now off the trail and it seems to see less use so the greenery, salal and ferns have had a chance to grow back. It's good to see this old friend look better.

       I Walked down this trail thinking (oh Gee Willikers) I bet there hasn’t been anybody on this one for a while. I walked into what looked like the makings of a soft core porno. Akweird.
