Långemossen used to be a primary trail going up from Surte into the heart of Vättlefjäll and Alefjäll. It once reached Rördalsvägen but has since been reduced as a mere part of Vättlefjällsleden and a small bit of Bohusleden.
While the old disused part of Långemossen still exists, it is currently poorly maintained.

More information about the extension to Rördalsvägen will come in the future and the full trail will be plotted then.

- At the very start of the trail, there's a rock face / drop you'd most likely have to push or carry your bike up. There's a small diversion but it isn't much easier to get up from the bottom. However, going down it is recommended if you are going the opposite direction.
- Then, sloping ever so slightly towards the township of Surte, you will only encounter the occasional stone and root on this trail as well as some gravel bedding in places where the ground would otherwise be soft.
- There is a narrow and poorly built footbridge on the trail that will let a bicycle wheel through unless you are riding a fatbike so be careful that you don't get caught and twist a wheel.
- Towards the bottom of the slope you will find a particularly wide, fast and rocky section going down to the road of Fågeldammsvägen.

This trail is unsanctioned.
