This is the non-motorized middle portion of the Lime Creek Trail #100, from the Twelvemile Meadow Trail #101 junction to the Warm Springs Creek/Lime Creek divide. This trail is generally ridden downhill as part of the classic Twelvemile to Lime Creek ride. It is primarily a flowy trail in and out of meadows following Warm Springs Creek, with one creek crossing and typical Salmon remote and primitive backcountry conditions. The last half mile of trail changes character dramatically, as it climbs 500 vertical feet of steep switchbacks on loose rock to the Lime Creek divide. Save some energy for this challenging 20% grade climb. Can you ride it??
