Mountain Highway is the main access to almost all the trails on Mount Fromme. It is a gravel road past the yellow gate. The steepness is a nice grade and even heavy downhill bikes can ride up with a bit of work.
There are 6 switchbacks, most the trailheads are after the 5th switchback with 4 upper trails after the 6th.
The gravel road starts at the end of the paved city street. There is no parking at the trail head, you must park 2 blocks down the hill.
