This is the longest of the trails at Russel Mill Pond. The trail is largely smooth and well packed with lots of fun features along the way. There are a few rock gardens and exposed bedrock along the way

This trail is not easy and is not a blue, in my opinion. As a new rider I found it very difficult due to its technical features of many rock gardens, large rocks and boulders in the path, steep rock faces to go down, etc. My riding partner, who is much more experienced, loved the trail, but I’d recommend being more experienced before attempting this trail.

My favorite trail (website won't let me change rating to 5 stars). Several challenging rocks/boulders that you can go around or over, depending on your skill. It has skinnies, bridges, twists and turns, small uphills and downhills, and keeps you alert the entire ride. It is too much for beginners, but intermediate and expert riders will have a blast. It is similar to some of the more challenging trails at Billerica State Forest.

Rode this last weekend what a total blast. Almost never ending super twisty trail with small ups and downs, bridges, rock gardens and a few rock faces. I agree with the above comments this trail is intermediate to expert. It's not deadly but very technical. Make sure to wear a lot of bug spray though because it goes deep in the woods.

First of all this trail is excellent. Fast flowey with intermittent tech and rock fratures that you can skip if your not that good. The trail is a solid blue, not advanced at all in my opinion. I took my son on it on a 24 inch hardtail and he thought it was the best trail he has ever been on and he hit almost everything. It’s not a grean though so if you are not intermediate it might be too much for you. But for any rider with decent experience, this trail is an absolute blast.

I prefer riding this in the opposite direction than suggested, however there are features that work better in different directions making it fun to ride both ways. However riding this counter turns the rock ledge into a drop and allows you to roll the big rock.
