Quite possibly thee best, and definitely Nelson’s most notorious trail, the Bag is a good, long fun ride with lots of humbling rock slabs and quick uphills. Connects to the old rail grade at Troop Beach with a 4km pedal back to the Svaboda parking lot.

Same tree described in prior report is still there. Didn't see that report or I'd have brought my hand saw. It's only 6-7" diam. Upper trail...

As previously said, trail starts getting a bit loose in sections. Tree down right after the gnarly slab feature. Great trail!

Riding is getting a bit loose in sections but it just adds to the fun. A couple of trees down, they could easily be cleared with a bush saw but we...

Unless you're on some really good drugs this is mainly xc for the first half. Not my cup of tea

Overrated imo, at least in late August. Save for spring or fall.

Only ride it if there’s moisture in the ground or after a recent rain.

Unless you are into cross country, do not waste your time on this trail. Do not recommend for people who enjoy downhill trails

It’s maybe 10% climbing, 90% descending. Hardly an XC trail.

Gate was closed so had to pedal to the top. A fair bit of climbing involved to get to the one hit wonder slab, then fun sidecut DH down to the bottom. Be sure to take a dip at the bottom! Great trail!

Basically XC for the top 50%. Lots of short downs and punchy ups. Really breaks up the flow which is fine if you're into that kind of thing. Bottom 50% is awesome. Super fast straight aways, some ruts, some nice lines to choice from. Would have been 4 or 5* if it wasn't for the XC style ups and downs at the top.

Super fun trail! Couple punchy climbs to make you take your time and enjoy all of the slabs
