This trail was one of the first re-routes conducted by the Boulder Mountainbike Alliance to pull the trail away from private land and was recently extended to connect with Aspen Alley Trail near P2P parking area.

To access Re-Root from the trailhead at the Peak to Peak Highway and Magnolia Rd, start climbing Aspen Alley Trail #342A and take the left at the fork 0.1 miles in. After a quarter of a mile, the trail crosses Haul Rd and continues for nearly two miles of winding singletrack interspersed with technical alternative lines.

There are about a half dozen alternate technical features along this stretch of trails - some of which are extremely challenging. There is always a ride around, but this is a good place to work on skills progression or introduce a less skilled rider to technical lines. A great trail to link together with the newly reworked Aspen Alley, Whoop-Di-Dos, Lookout, and others to form a really sweet single track loop showcasing some truly progressive trail design (for the Colorado Front Range anyway).
