Scilla Walk (green) 2.4km/30 min This trail is named after the BLUE SCILLA/Merwilla plumbea which blooms during October. Start at the CVC gate at the top of Main Street. Follow the green markers. At the first junction opt for the short detour to the left over the sandstone cliffs for a better view of the Maluti Mountains and the Little Caledon river valley. The detour joins the Scilla Walk higher up, and you have the option to walk the circular route or continue onto the Dam and Kloof walk.
A trail permit is required for the use of the CVC trails. Permits can be purchased at Clarens Xtreme (link below). You can also purchase a copy of the official CVC map from most businesses in the village, which serves as a permit.
