This trail is mostly in clear cut and can become quite overgrown during the summer. The climb is fairly steep, but it's hard to gain much speed descending, since there are quite a few tight switchbacks. While it's a multi-user trail, most MTB riders will favor the older more seasoned Tarbell or Larch Mountain trails designed with riders in mind.
