Supa Kanuka is a hand built, fairly narrow, undulating track that gradually gains a small amount of elevation above Nikau Valley before flowing back down to the bottom of Aratihi. It runs through some great native bush and offers a feeling of remoteness and isolation out the back of the park.

Built by the Kennett Brothers in late 2017 and early 2018, the long term plan is for this to be a key part of a grade 3 loop in the south west corner of the park along with two additional new trails. Essentially it provides an option for grade 3 riders who don't want to drop all the way down into Nikau Valley.

Access Info

Either head down Nikau Valley, and look for a left hand entry before the intersection with Possum Bait Line. Or head down Leaping Lizard and turn left at the sign.
