Best ridden clockwise. Enter park and go right on Campground road. First segment (Newbie Loop) starts on pavement, turns to gravel, turns to double track. Intersects with Norcross Trail, before crossing road. Downhill section waterbars can provide some fun pops. Alternates between single and double track, coming to intersection with Little Loop — optional ½ mile easy loop, and Swoops — single track with great flow that takes you 1 mile to complete the loop.
Park across from Mt. Ascutney State Park. Enter park on bike and tell ranger you are riding Swoops and Loops (no fee).
