This loop is a bit more old school style singletrack, pretty narrow and winding through the trees. Certain sections that drop quickly are often small rock gardens, perhaps to keep from being eroded from breaking. Most the features on this trail are some kind of alignment of rocks, cinder blocks, and even old asphalt.
If you start from the main park on the west Luce Line Access you have 2 options. You can hit the main trail, or take a little expert extra area
There are 3 access points, 2 of which come right from the Luce Line Trail paved path. You can approach from either direction. The north access is a neighborhood access point off of Woodland Trail Road
