| Ideal | Nov 9, 2023 @ 7:50am Nov 9, 2023 | Sweet bench cuts to the trail crew! Super fun trails. Love the big boulders on the corners to keep you honest! | ||
| Dry | May 23, 2026 @ 7:56am May 23, 2026 | Grown over. The trail is built really well but seems a little neglected. It needs a lot more riding and possibly a little maintenance. There's a bush/tree that has grown across the trail on the lower half the causes you to go off the trail. Will be super fun if it gets some love. | ||

| Dry | May 23, 2026 @ 7:56am May 23, 2026 | The trail is so overgrown in parts I'm basically just guessing where I'm going. It could use some clearing but honestly I wonder if it just doesn't get enough traffic. | ||

| Dry | Oct 22, 2023 @ 12:20pm Oct 22, 2023 | I could not see this trail near the weather tank. Maybe they started building it and never finished. I hiked up to the canal and there is not an easy way to cross. | ||
| Dry | May 23, 2026 @ 7:56am May 23, 2026 | A tiny bit over grown but not an obstacle |

| Unknown | Dec 10, 2021 @ 10:34pm Dec 10, 2021 | Rode this trail from Lousy Jim to Duncan Creek-Bosman on 8-17-21. After climbing up a steep slope that is hard to follow in a few spots (look for cut out logs and gaps in brush) the trail enters a burned area on the ridge top. It is harder to follow up here with quite a few downed trees. When I rode this in late Aug 2020 all downed trees had been cut out. Not so this year. Following cut out logs is the easiest way to stay on track through here. Also look for blazes which are normally 4 vertical saw marks, either on standing dead trees or on downed trees. This burned section is fairly short, don't let it deter you. Great adventure riding. There is some hike a bike in either direction. | ||

| Unknown | Jun 21, 2026 @ 10:50am Jun 21, 2026 | Still *so* many downed trees, on the entire east side of the lake. Dozens. Beavers are knocking them down (even giant aspens) right near the lake, but elsewhere it's just dead forest and no maintenance. Some have well beaten paths around, so it's been a while since it was cut out. Bummer, as others said, great trail otherwise. | ||

| Dry | Jun 21, 2026 @ 10:53am Jun 21, 2026 | Lots of trees down. Both on the flat techy section and the climb up to the ridge. Still worth it, barely, but be prepared for extra work and frustration. | ||

| Dry | Sep 3, 2019 @ 9:28am Sep 3, 2019 | Rode the whole thing south to north. Few downed trees. Tricky to follow at times but that's part of the adventure. Rough and natural, just the way I like it! No this isn't a nice groomed bike trail but not everything should or needs to be. | ||

| Dry | Nov 13, 2025 @ 3:59pm Nov 13, 2025 | Rode this trail 11/6/25, accessed via Ten Mile / Gold Hill / Skyline. The top of the trail is hard to follow until you drop into the canyon bottom. I had to drop the bike a few times and hunt around, especially at switchback turns. Didn't count trees down but probably about 30. There was also some erosion damage lower down but nothing that was hard to get over except for the one chute pictured. Go downstream a bit and there is an easier climb out of the creek bed. Do not recommend doing your first ride on this trail in the dark like I did hahaha. | ||

| Variable | Dec 10, 2021 @ 10:55pm Dec 10, 2021 | Rode this trail in August of 2020 and 2021. Fun ride both times. Say hi to the horses along the fence up top. Trail is a bit hard to follow from there to where it drops in. You have to go left a bit from the fence line. Once on it, it's fairly easy to follow although there are alternate lines in a few places. A couple trees down this year. Some challenging rock sections and switchbacks. Down low there were some washouts at stream crossings that you have to carry the bike across. Not a big deal. In 2020 I tried to follow the trail proper all the way out. It disappears into a meadow and you have to bushwack a bit. Instead, take the ATV trail. Much faster and easier. Wouldn't want to climb this trail. | ||

| Unknown | Dec 10, 2021 @ 9:54pm Dec 10, 2021 | Rode Blue Lake Tr from S to N on 8/17/21. On the climb up there are lots of trees that have been down for a while you can ride over, and a few newer ones you have to lift the bike over. Climb is in good shape overall. Dropping down to Blue Lake there are a couple of big trees down blocking the trail. Easy to divert around. Also a couple small ones down you have to lift the bike over. Crews don't seem to get to all these trees until late summer so I may have just been early. Overall the trail was in great shape. It's a little hard to follow at the north end but just aim for the road. Trying to pick it up there heading south, look for cut out logs and chainsaw marks with 4 vertical lines. | ||
| Dry | Nov 13, 2025 @ 4:40pm Nov 13, 2025 | 11/7/25 - climbed 3.5 miles up from Miner's Park to The Pocket trail intersection. The lower 1.5 miles of the trail burned (Silver King fire 2024) with some parts torched and damage light in other areas. Lots of downed trees. 30? Some are bigger trees and/or fell along the trail. The fire also damaged tread in places. Above the burn area trail is narrow, overgrown and steep so I pushed much of that too. It is hard to follow as you approach the Pocket. | ||

| Unknown | Dec 10, 2021 @ 10:50pm Dec 10, 2021 | Rode this N to S on 8/17/21. Very raw, seldom used trail. Easy to follow, but has some steep parts in both directions including one short section heading south that was difficult to get up with the bike. Then there is a longer climb to a saddle that was mostly hike a bike. After that, easy riding to join the main Skyline NRT. Great adventure riding and the main way to do a loop from Bullion Meadow. There were a couple trees down. | ||

| Dry | Aug 4, 2025 @ 12:27pm Aug 4, 2025 | epic long loop on a bike. This is old school mtb'n, 98% ridable but some sections have to hike but just short steep sections. I cut a few downed logs with my mini chain saw, but a few remain. Each year takes some cutting to open trail up, but the scenery is unreal, usually see elk, deer, turkeys and almost no humans. | ||

| Ideal | Dec 10, 2021 @ 11:19pm Dec 10, 2021 | Rode this on my dual sport moto Aug 2020. Pretty nice trail though there are a few short steep climbs that were a little tough. Otherwise it was a nice ride though some meadows and the trees. Connects from Hwy 153 up to Big John Flat. No downed trees. OHVs keep the trail clear of those. | ||
| Dry | Aug 3, 2023 @ 5:40am Aug 3, 2023 | Beautiful trail that's buried under a few years worth of downed trees. Difficult even to hike until the FS or someone clears it | ||
| Ideal | Dec 10, 2021 @ 8:55pm Dec 10, 2021 | Hike a biked up to the Delano Peak summit on 8/27/20. No issues, just steep trail all the way up. Was planning to connect down to The Pocket and Bullion Meadow but lost the trail on the saddle just east of Delano. Returned this year and road down Bullion to The Pocket and connected to Poison Creek heading east. Trail from there east was raw and in a couple spots hard to follow. Was able to pick it up easy enough, and after that it was easy to follow all the way to the Alunite Ridge Trailhead. Trail was in pretty good shape almost the whole way aside from some eroson in spots. There is some steep climbing to get to Alunite TH, likely hike a bike for most, but the trail tread was in pretty good shape for the most part. | ||
| Ideal | Jul 6, 2024 @ 11:47am Jul 6, 2024 | Two trees across the trail: 1 4' diameter , 1 that could easily be cut out with a silky. | ||

| Unknown | Dec 10, 2021 @ 8:43pm Dec 10, 2021 | Rode this trail 8/16/21. Raw backcountry riding at its best. Connecting from Bullion Meadow to Poison Creek there is some steep forested climbing to a ridge top, then some descending and traversing to join PC. Trail was in pretty good shape with decent bench, minimal downed trees. After getting to the top of the first major climb and descending, the trail traverses and becomes more raw and overgrown. Had to look for it in one or two spots but overall it was easy to follow. | ||
