From the carpark, climb to the summit via the iconic suspension bridge using Koru, Sally Alley, Upswing and Aratihi (or for a more challenging ride, after Sally Alley, head down Missing Link and up Aratihi). After taking in the spectacular views from the Mākara Peak summit, descend via super fun Pōhatu and Starfish for a thrilling 2.9km grade 4 downhill run.

Advanced Loop is a 6 mile popular advanced route located near Wellington. This mountain bike primary route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 4 trails. This route climbs 1,399 ft with a max elevation of 1,302 ft then descends -1,393 ft.
