COURSE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
The course will be marked with yellow tape and arrows. This is not a completely closed course. You will need to ride with your head up and be alert.
The Gitchee Gumee Traverse will be a 50-ish mile point-to-point race, starting at Piedmont and ending at Mission Creek. As with all other events we do, 100% of the proceeds from the event will go towards building more trails, by being donated in entirety to COGGS, the Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores. They are on a long-term mission right now with the City of Duluth to build a 100+ mile Traverse across the city, and as the trail grows, so will this race.
Our good friend Buhrito is our local on the ground, and has already put in weeks of work scouting the course, mowing the course, making sure it all flows together, and will be helping mark the course It takes full advantage of every square inch of Piedmont, so be prepared for a very tight, technical start to this race.
