Steep, loose and tight in spots, wide open soft needles over dirt in other areas. There are sections where you can open up the brakes but be careful as there are often blind unbanked corners that sneak up on you especially at speed and overshooting can have consequences.

Access Info

Out and back is not advised. Shuttling is ideal. Riding a loop is doable as well and will involved about 90 min of climbing and 3800 vertical feet. To do this you can park on highway 58 at the bottom or at the intersection of 5840 and South Willamette Trail and climb 5480 to 550 which will butt directly into the bottom of Hardesty from which Eula can be accessed. Eula Ridge Trail is a sharp right hand turn off of Hardesty about 1/4 mile in. "Eula" is carved into a tree at the entrance.

reporter Running dry and fast. One small tree down in the upper steeps and another larger one down in the last half mile.

Couple large down trees in tough spots. Keep your head up. Otherwise overall great conditions, few really sloppy spots

Rad, steep, loose, rowdy. A bit overrated to be honest, but the most technical trail in Oakridge. The switchbacks near the bottom are a bit of a buzz kill, but other than that it's great. Not beginner or really even intermediate friendly due to the steep looseness.

Steep, loose, fast. Most amazing condition of singletrack. A few jumps on the steeps would make it a dbl black!
Please ride don’t slid the corners! Learn it to save the ttrails!
Delffinately not a blue trail!

Im a fan. Top part has some steep loose sections that are pretty sustained, short break than another section of steep and loose. I like this style of riding right on the edge of chaos. Middle not a fan of all the tight hairpins. The middle to end where it gets away from the side hill and opens up that's fun and brilliant. A few punchy climbs as well. I would say I liked maybe Lawler better as a whole because it was longer but Eula had some of the most fun segements. We shuttled it, gravel road all the way, a washed out road section near top I got up it in my 2wd honda element 3rd time was a charm. Shuttle was about 30 min.
