The Pineview Recreational Trails Project is a collaborative initiative between cycling-focused not for profit organization the Kamloops Performance Cycling Centre (KPCC), the business sector (led by KGHM-Ajax), and the provincial government (Province-FLNRO).
These trails are established and have a cross section of private ownership and designated usages, there is a shared commitment to integrating responsible recreational activities.
This agreement is a step towards ensuring the long-term viability and legacy of ranching, one of the central land uses that has sustained Kamloops for over a century, while reinforcing the strong recreational culture of the area. Pineview is the perfect place for this to occur.
Over 50 kilometers of of trails are available, all built and maintained by volunteers and the KPCC. Pineview is the perfect place to enjoy fantastic trails in Kamloops. The network is closed during the winter season, typically from late November until conditions allow in the spring.
Fun for all abilities. Great XC climbs and awesome AM descents.

The original trail head is at the parking area at the very end of Hugh Alan Drive, where the houses are in the 2000s. There is a second, newer, larger parking area and trail head off of Lac le Jeune Road that is good for accessing the western area trails.
