Hog Heaven is the first trail in the Hog network of trails. This is a very technical trail and has numerous different sections that make it an advanced technical riders go to trail. If you didn't have any issues riding High on the Hog you will hopefully enjoy riding Hog Heaven. There is more exposure on this trail and a couple short section should be checked out closely before riding them. About 3/4 of the way through the ride you will come to the Hog Wash trail to your right. After passing Hog Wash you will come to a Y intersection where the Hogtail trail goes to your left. When you stay right you will cross the Pigtail trail. Then a little further on Hog Heaven you will intersect the Mystic trail

Super fun trail. Great flow and good thought put into it's route

Found hog heaven and high on the hog trails to be as difficult as hi line (walked one move on each). Fun trails, just don’t expect them to be easier than the double blacks!
[Reply]

Not sure how this trail is not a double black diamond. Half the trailer you are walking your bike for sure. Even for a pretty advanced rider. I wouldn’t do it again. Just too much hike a bike. I wish more people would rate the things properly

Must ride trail when visiting Sedona! The obstacles are smaller than Hiline stuff but the fact that they aren't all straight line rolls may leave you feeling surprisingly challenged.
[Reply]

Very cool. Classic challenges some skill needed but quick to walk over scary parts also. Great views

Notably harder and more committing than High on the Hog. Felt a step above most the “single black” trails in town. It’s all rad tho.
[Reply]

Some small patches of ice but you can roll over or bike around.

Hog Heaven is harder than High on the Hog. There are a few moves you should look at before attempting. Some of the corners are so blind, on my first ride of it, that I had to really slow down and realize I wasn't clearing this one first try. Some intense climbs and super steep dowmhill sections that will make you pucker and laugh at the same time. Highly reccommend it because damn this trail makes you feel alive, takes your breath away, nearly falling off cliffs while laughing down massive slickrock rolls, etc. But why else do we do this? Go ride this trail.

Traveling west to east, this trail has many sections that are hike-a-bike. Once section was a steep ramp that required steps be chiseled to get up it. Don't recommend this direction.

Signs at the trail entrance say this is a double black. I agree. Very technical and lots of exposure.
[Reply]

Fun trail, I agree with others that it feels harder than single black, and I found it more difficult than high on the hog, but slightly easier than the steep section of hiline.
[Reply]

Lots of pedaling with little reward. A couple super fun, short descents but then back to more pedaling. Great views and trail building, maybe worth it once if you like climbing tech but dont like descending.
