Ride this trail counterclockwise Beautiful trail along the Waldo Lake. This trail starts out beginner for the first 3 or 4 miles (riding counterclockwise) then it turns into a mostly Blue trail with a few small sections of Black. It is a smooth experience except for a few notable short (circa ten foot) rock chutes (three or four in 26miles). The trail is worth braving the few sections you may need to walk. The climbs are short and relatively easy with the exception of two near the end. Take plenty of food and water andenjoy the views.

Watch out for mosquitoes in the early to mid summer.
