NewOldSkool (NOS) is Empire of Dirt's take on a grade 5 XC style trail for the modern age of bike and rider: technical sections with rock rolls, off-camber - and a few pinch climbs to keep the lycra team fizzing. Earn the goodness, and you will be rewarded.

It's not as steep and fast as Chewbacca, with the first half in particular containing a few punchy climbs which make sure you are earning your turns. But the features keep coming like a greatest hits album.

Caution... in there is a gnarly roll about 3/4 of the way down that takes full commitment There is a B line ride around if you don't feel up to the task. The A line is a roll and the rollout at the bottom is really well built and doesn't have a hard compression. Just don't get it wrong as its a 4 m drop.
