This is a grade 5 jumps trail, and while there are not specifically any gap jumps, this is NOT a trail for those learning to jump. You should consider yourself a confident jumper, comfortable with a bit of hang time, before you attempt this trail. We have other trails in the park, including a soon to be opened Jumping Jack, for those who are still attempting to dial in their jump techniques.
The design brief was to make this a cruisy, pedal free, brake free, fun airtime ride. The result is a track where all the features are big and wide and well designed and doable at the speed the trail gives you.
WARNING
Only attempt this trail if you are a confident jumper
Be aware of the WIND - this trail is exposed to the wind and surprise surprise, Palmy has more than our fair share of that
DO NOT STOP and stand in the middle of the trail looking at features. Other riders will approach at speed and potentially fully committed in the air.
DO NOT PUSH back up the center of the trail to session features.
Ripper shares a starting point with Rhythm and Vines (but heads in the other direction).
