Most trails in this area are very technical and require a lot of effort to climb; this is the easiest way back up the hill, paved road the whole way. Does have a couple 8-9% grade sections, but just keep spinning.
**Note: the road is fairly busy, even on weekdays, please stay to the side.

- Ridge to Old Post: less than 5 mins
- Old Post to Herk Parking: ~15 mins at a steady spin (has lots of pull-outs and a couple nice views if need to rest along the way)
